Kindergarten Graduation Celebration Ideas

Graduating kindergarten is quite an accomplishment ! Your child will now feel more independent and move on to grade school. So, to recognize this milestone, many parents celebrate the graduating of  their child with a graduation ceremony with caps and gowns. Traditional caps and gowns for this ceremony are not required, although it does add to the moment and the memories will last forever.

Here is a list of great tips to ensure that your little scholar will have a memorable  Kindergarten Graduation.
  • Sending out invitations with the ceremony date, time and location is always at the top of the list. You can do this as a class project where the kids can decorate their own invitations.
  • Rehearse ceremony activities and run through the diploma presentation. This will promote confidence and allow the kids to be at their best. A little rehearsal goes a long way.
  • Make sure that your don't forget to play the classic graduation song, "Pomp and Circumstance," for the diploma presentation or for music during the ceremony.
  • The best place to purchase caps and gowns is at Rhyme University - Your Preschool, Kindergarten & Head Start Graduation Specialist. www.rhymeuniversity.com

Don't forget the teacher as well by giving her a gift certificate or a  bouquet of flowers to thank her for a successful year!
